 Grilstad AB, formerly Burmans Charkuteri AB, is under the ownership of Jenssen Holding AS since the summer of 2002. Grilstad AB has three sister companies in Norway; Grilstad fabrikker in Trondheim, Stranda Spekemat outside Ålesund, and Alf Bredrup outside Hamar. Grilstad Fabrikker AS has been exporting air-dried and sliced products to Sweden for 20 years. Since 2004, all production of salami is located at Grilstad AB in Östersund.
Moving the production to Östersund is also a step to reach markets beyond Scandinavia.
Grilstad AB produces two registered trademarks: Grilstad and Burmans. The Grilstads assortment consists of: air-dried ham and sliced salami. The Burman assortment consists of low-fat sausage and hot dogs.
